Disagree they can be borrowed from existing holders of $SNPW stock.That have accounts with schwab( including TDA because they acquired it previously)
And as long as its not in a cash account or ira.etc


Its meaning is simply that if you try and place an order to short SNPW with Schwab, it is unlikely to be filled, because Schwab doesn't maintain a supply of most OTC shares that it could use to short those stocks.

Posts regarding Schwab's HTB* designation of SNPW misleading imo.

Whether they are conclusions from SNPW tweets or other poster's conclusions, they are not warranted from an HTB designation by Schwab imo.

Short sale rules on Schwab are complex and not easily amenable to any quick conclusions as stated in some recent posts.

To get an idea of how Schwab handles short sale orders, see the link below.

Look at the FAQ's to get some specific info on short sale trading at Schwab.
