That is correct. Yet over 700 million in the company assets are intangible - only tangible assets will be carved up and sold off to the highest bidder. And in BK assets are acquired at deep discount to stated book value.
I don't see a realistic way enough funds will be raised to extinguish all debt.
There were no offers to purchase the company as a whole pre bankruptcy.
I think the hype portraying the common shares retaining value post BK is just that, hype.
And that the common shares will be canceled to allow a new equity position, should one emerge, a chance at a ROI on fresh investment in what remains.
