I think it very important for shareholders to remember and see that CHS has been the heart of the Endurion Battery silicon anode program and still is . It confused shareholders i believe when Matt Kappers said a while back that , " Coretec had not given up on commercializing CHS " etc He was talking about further work with the chemical CHS and refining it for use for semi conductors where the CHS material has to be extreemly pure for use i that space or application .Thats what the hope still is as they seek funding to work with a semi conductor company to continue to refine CHS for semiconductor applications . But thats not the case for silicon anodes or for LEDs for that matter . The work being done on anodes can be helpful for LED applications as well. We can see that here in the filing below
ANN ARBOR, MI / BUSINESSWIRE / February 28, 2022 – The Coretec Group, Inc., (OTCQB: CRTG), a developer of engineered silicon and 3D volumetric displays, has filed a full utility patent on its provisional patent for the development of advanced silicon anodes using cyclohexasilane (CHS) and other silanes.
The full-utility patent – filed February 24, 2022 – builds on a provisional patent filed a year earlier. This patent application covers the use of CHS to produce a wide variety of silicon anodes for use in lithium-ion batteries.
Filing the utility patent is a necessary step to formally protect The Coretec Group’s work on the battery initiative it embarked upon last year.
And from the last conferance call :
And, with regards to the Endurion, we have two pieces of IP right now, so one, a patent that was filed initially, and then where we've done
a conversion in February of 2022 through a PCT application, is a CHS approach to making a wide variety of silicon anode materials,
and
these can be either pure silicon anode materials or doped silicon anode materials or even silicon nitride in an anode material that's now
of interest, or an approach to take a graphitic or carbon type of particle and then grow silicon nanowires on that using CHS.
Bullish
Bullish

Key to Solid State Battery success is the silicon anode and with Coretec saying at the last call that they were going to file patents for their new silicon anode for solid state batteries as well it puts Coretec in a good position for success in both lithium ion batteries and solid state batteries . Nanograf has a solid state battery and says the silicon anode is the key as well as others who are saying the same thing .
https://nanografi.com/blog/solidstate-silicon-batteries-properties-and-applications/

And a second publication on the same topic
.https://pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlelanding/2023/ee/d2ee04057c#:~:text=Silicon%20is%20considered%20an%20important,dendrite%20formation%20and%20morphological%20instability.

Also the inventor of the lithium ion battery said the sulfur battery would someday be the best battery of all . Well guess what sulfur batteries can use silicon anodes as well .
