Interesting observations. August is a typical time to unleash short attacks on biotechs as that is when the regulators slow down due to vacations with the news cycle typically restarting in September. I expected the water boarding without news so here we are. I also expect other longs know that this is where the buy low, sell high wisdom kicks in when the price sits at a bottom rail of a long standing up trend even if the trend gets water boarded a little. With this ticket being watched very carefully any short attack is going to be difficult to keep undetected or unplanned for. So execution of these plans is now at greater risk of failing.
