The point is that IF anyone DOES have a huge naked short position here? They could have covered it any time they wanted to in the last 7 months.

Before that? Sure, there was a good chance this company wouldn't see the light of a regular trading day. It would have been smart to hold onto it. Then collect when the company went belly up. But it's obvious now that DBMM has wrangled their way out of trouble. Don't get me wrong - that doesn't mean I think DBMM is a good stock to buy. Far from it.

So now the company at least a chance to rise from here. Would you hold onto a large short position, waiting for that to happen? NO.

When do you want to cover a short position? When the stock decreases in price from where you shorted it.

This has been down to $.003.

Why hasn't any short position been covered?

Probably because there was NEVER one to begin with.
