My opinion (take for what it's worth) on an AG is that it would make a ton of sense if they were planning to GIA in perpetuity. But if their plan is to sell the company (which it is), then launching an AG would be very short-term thinking, as I'm not sure that this is what a BP would want to buy. I just think it handcuffs them. And my guess is that they are being advised by people in the BP world with regards to what would be most attractive to a buyer.

And obviously, they need to get through pricing negotiations in all of EU before they even consider launching an AG anyway.

Then again, maybe BP's have looked at this and said "yeah, an AG makes the most sense, we're never going to gain ground with the branded Rx in the U.S.", and Amarin will do it. Who knows. But we DO know that they are going to take whichever course makes the most sense, long-term.
