Don’t the Basques speak a Spranko (Spain & France), dialect?

Reminds me of an old western. The wagon train had a number of Basques in the wagon train. Of course the Indian tribe was going to attack the wagon train. So, the Basques saved the day. The Indians attacked the wagons in a narrow canyon with boulders on either side. Thinking they (Indians) had the advantage. They weren’t prepared for what surprise the Basques had in store. In the end the Basques saved the wagon train and they moved into Napa Valley to grow their grapes. You’ll have to watch the movie. It’s been ages ago.
