Didn't he pay taxes on the shares he kept? The difference between the $1.60 exercise price and the current share price generated income and reset his cost basis to $8.

I'm not knowledgeable about the details of corporate stock options.

There is no WGT or otherwise signal in Missling’s exercise of his incentive options in a cashless transactions. Just biz as usual.

Should not take long to ponder....
What is your estimate of AVXL SP IF Missling were to sell
aprox 250K shares Monday?

NOW cut and paste that answer to WHY Missling executed
the purchase as he did. Extrapolate JUST HIS current holdings
and there is your true risk.

There is no other answer for ANY who actually understand the Market.

BTW...Steady was correct in his "cost basis" answer to your incorrect
characterization of the retained shares.
