I've endured sepsis and two surgeries courtesy of their system and the level of care for cost ratio is astonishingly higher than what I have seen in Europe, let alone what I hear about in the US. The Taiwan medical system is a force to be reckoned with, and if it wasn't for China cock-blocking it at every turn Taiwan has a lot to teach the world. They could've helped save countless lives in the Covid pandemic by sharing their unparalleled learnings from SARS if China hadn't gone out of their way to prevent any/ all discourse with The WHO and hardballed Taiwan with BS vaccine diplomacy.
Without getting political, I sincerely hope Linda Liau will be on the front of Time Magazine with the Nobel Prize representing not just UCLA but also a free and democratic Taiwan later this year!
