santafe, The idea to consider is that 'climate science' is being tailor fit to justify a much broader agenda. There's nothing new about the concept of powerful people / groups with broader agendas, history is full of them. So if the goal is to centralize control and build a global government structure (it is), it helps to have a dire global problem to solve as the cover story. There are many legitimate global problems out there, but none are as all encompassing as 'climate change', since it covers literally every aspect of human activity -- energy, transportation, minerals/mining, land use, food production, manufacturing, population, etc. So to 'save the planet', the solution is to centralize control over everything.

Anyway, it's a brilliant plan, but we should be aware of its nefarious nature. To assume good intentions on the part of these globalist planners / schemers is extremely naive, and goes against what we know about human nature in general (ie that we are biologically hard wired to seek dominance and control). A big plus to the 'saving the planet' narrative is that it also appeals to the public's altruistic side and idealism, especially among the youth, but we're being duped. Anyway, something to think about
