It was a theory AZ provided but was debunked….being at 50.00 for 60 days does nothing for escrows….

JHD. The $50 stock price pertains to only one trust! The Washington Mutual Capital Trust. This trust was used to fund dividends for WM commons and piers. The piers are gone! This trust has been accumulating $.38 of income per quarter for 15 years. Plus interest on the income. With just dividends that’s $22 per original WM common share. Plus interest. This trust payout lasts until 2041. There is a bankruptcy clause but I do not know how or if it changes the $50 share price minimum.
