I would like to see people go to jail but they want to avoid discovery which could facilitate that outcome. Therefore I believe there will be a settlement offer which we will not refuse given it will likely set records.

Management want to send a message to the street that this type of behavior will not be tolerated. They are also showing other firms how to defend themselves from spoofing. Setting that legal precedent will have profound implications even if Kenny Boy and Dirty Doug avoid prison.

Eagle, Maybe this lawsuit is just a game of lawyers covering every loophole, no discovery, and private financial settlement only, but I'm not so sure Linda Powers has not created an environment where Citadel and other alleged manipulators will not be exposed criminally eventually. I think once the wheels start turning, the 10% to 30% whistleblower reward program by the SEC is out dangling in front of investment bankers and ex-employees. I think it's just a matter of time when we get an ensemble of whistleblowers.
