I don't believe that will be the case. This is more like delivering stem cells, if you mess it up there may not be a second chance. I don't know how all agencies do it, but at City of Hope they send a staff member, frequently all the way to Europe, to bring the donated stem cells to COH under proper conditions.
FedEx does a wonderful job most of the time, but sometimes an overnight delivery takes a couple days, occasionally things actually get lost. Point is, you may not get a second chance to do it right, perhaps if it's shipped in a cryogenic vacuum bottle a few days in shipping would be okay. Until we know the parameters that apply to handling the components I don't know what the protocol for shipping it will be.
