A little about my history, as a voter. My first election was in 1960. I was a product of The Great Depression and like most victims of the Dust Bowl, I grew up virtually worshiping FDR, so my first vote was for JFK.

Then he lied to me about the Cuban Missile Crisis. "They blinked first".. Bullshit!!! He negotiated to remove our rockets, from Turkey. I swathed to the GOP.

But I was still was of the "vote for the best person", mind set

In 1992 I voted for Clinton. I couldn't stomach Bush Sr..

I knew I had made a big mistake, on Inauguration Day 1993. As the traditional flyover was going on, a Clinton aide looked at the planes, and said to Bill, "For the first time in my life, I feel like they are ours" and Bill didn't throw the little shit to the wolves.

All elected Democrats went on my "Never, Never" list, during MonicaGate, when every single Congressional Democrat, except for Joe Lieberman, agreed with Slick Willie. "Blow jobs are not sexual relations"

From that time it was clear to me that, with Democrats, Party comes first.
