I don't know Echo - I think in general the market views short money as smarter money...I know if I see a stock with a high short position I immediately ask "what's wrong with this company?".. Yes, a potential for a squeeze is there but I think generating excitement from that possibility only works AFTER someone is convinced the company really has something and is going to be announcing it fairly soon.
I just think it's a big turnoff and as I said before constant focus on shorts is something I interpret as a sign of fear and whining..the hatred comes out loud and clear and that's not very upbeat. Excited shareholders should be talking about things more directly related to what the company is doing, I think. This rally began with excitement from Bard AI, then from the commercial announcement and large device projections from Dr Lebby, and then from Nvidia AI rally...NOT from the constant talk of shorts.
