and still there is absolutely no indication that Market Makers are doing anything with BIEL stock other than facilitating buys and sells for little retail traders like you and me.
The daily short report still doesn't mean what you seem to think it means. Those are not "short positions" that have been opened by market makers. Those "short sales" are an artifact of modern trading system, and are covered and closed within minutes.
Yesterday you implied that MM's were preventing the stock from getting to or staying at 6. What is today's excuse? For an hour the ask was six and there were no trades. In other words, no one was willing to bid 6. There were no intervening trades at 5 to scare the newbies, no diminishing of enthusiasm. Just plain old lack of interest.
