China Caixin Services PMI stronger than expected. Unlike the official PMI reports, the Caixin survey signals accelerating growth across the services sector. The Service PMI rose to 57.1 rom 56.4 in the previous month. This was the fifth straight month of expansion, and the stronger than expected number lifted the Composite to 55.6 from 53.6 in the previous month. Official PMI reports had added to concern that China's recovery remains patchy and uneven and while the Caixin survey also indicates that the services sector is much stronger than the manufacturing sector it is nevertheless, much more upbeat about the overall strength of the recovery and will go some way to bolster confidence in China's economy.
