Well when I was complaining I thought they were gonna lose game 1 of the DH, and to be fair I didn't know that scherzer had a blister at that point the whole game, so I would of taken him out if I knew the info. about the blister/cut. It is not about the record or if they are the oakland A's it is about how many bad decisions I see Buck making. Trust me there has been a lot. Like PH with Vogelbach in a game when you see a lefty warming up in the pen. Obvious not to bring him in, because the other manager is only going to bring in the lefty. One of many examples in 2023.
There is no pain if your rooting for Oakland you know they stink. There have been many mets teams over the years that have been lousy, but I know they were gonna stink, so not much form of pain. To get pain you have to be disappointed in your sports team for that to happen (And to be fair when I use the word pain lets call it's sports pain, as there is alot of stuff that happens to people that causes real pain). You have to have some form of expectations, obviously the mets were predicted to win like 90 something games this year by just about everyone, and until they called the rookies up they were perhaps one of the most dead teams I have seen. The 1rst inning impression has alot to it as well even when they started winning, they still give up runs practically every 1rst inning, and never score early. In fact the other team at one point scored first 13 games in a row which was a franchise record, and in the last 21 games, I think that has happened 19 times. It is very hard to see a team always trailing in the beginning of these games, this team is like 14-2 when they score first I think, and yes they have alot of comeback wins which is a plus, but you better have some of those if your always down after 1 practically every game. This week the game they brought vientos back was the first time they showed a pulse all season, they have played much worse than there record indicated when they were 20-23, if you watched them and seen the complacency, the lack of urgency, the bad decisions, and the lack of execution, you would know why, they were brutal to watch the first 43 games I kept saying I thought they were lucky not to have buried themselves the way they played, because they were very bad. But thankfully they woke up. As for scherzer if 6 is the best I can hope for from every starting pitcher, the mets bullpen will be done by July. You can't keep using bp arm 4/5 days and expect to get away with it in my opinion.
