I used to have apple pie spice in my spice cabinet. Never made any apple pie with it but it was great in oatmeal or fried apples. I should probably get some more at some point.

When I lived in MA there was an apple orchard nearby that sold apple pies around the holidays. I'd order one unbaked just to have the aroma in the kitchen while it was baking. And of course I'd claim I baked it myself.

Now Mrs. Smith is my best friend.
