I can see the advantages in something like that. We try and plan out in advance a weekly menu. Keying in some main ingredients along with the number of people would be worth a try.

Chicken Marsala: Sauté chicken cutlets in a Marsala wine and mushroom sauce. Serve with roasted potatoes and steamed asparagus.

My wife has been asking for this but I'm having a hard time tracking down marsala wine.
