Many companies are routinely relying on contract manufacturers to handle commercial manufacturing of their products. We do know the company invested in Sawston but called on Advent to manage it. We don't know what arrangement they have, or may be negotiating with CRL. No doubt, if CRL has created the commercial manufacturing capability at no cost to NWBO they'll get a greater percentage of the sales than if NWBO paid for the facility, but there will be plenty of money for all involved regardless of the precise agreement between all the players.

For all we know that $3 million came from CRL, not saying that's the case, just one possibility. If it were true, CRL would become more of a partner, not just a contract manufacturer for NWBO. Give it time, it all will become apparent in time.
