The only thing unbelievable is the line of logic in your post.

Anavex has had conversations with the FDA. Missling doesn't publicize them. We know only about a few because of small bits of info that show up in CCs and the like.

It turns out that to schedule a meeting with the FDA you have to submit materials to be discussed 30 to 60 days in advance of the meeting. It's hard to discuss the path forward for an NDA based on trial results until you have the trial results available.

Duh.
