Once the US FDA approves Anavex's blarcamesine for any indication medical doctors can and will prescribe blarcamesine off label for any indication that they feel that it will benefit.

Celgene made $BILLION$ from off label sales of Thalidomide once it was approved as a treatment for leprosy around 1998. It was officially banned in 1961.
