Similar story here Badger. I lost my dad in Nov ‘21. Every day I visited I’d put his favorite hat on, give him a toothpick, and wheel him back to his room to watch some Fox News. He didn’t know who I was but everyday he said “ boy I’m glad to see you” as he knew I was the guy who’d give him an escape from the masses in wheel chairs just sitting around the common area of the memory care unit. The world lost a good Christian man but heaven gained one tough marine!
