You are correct in everything you said except that Missling is not required by the SEC to hold a quarterly conference call. In fact, all public companies are required to do is to disclose quarterly results by filing a 10Q (or a 10K for the fiscal year). Even a press release is not required since a 10Q filing constitutes full disclosure.
Those who have been here for a while may recall that Missling did not always hold a quarterly conference call.
It was a mistake to start doing so because all it does is lead to the dashing of unrealistic expectations and even more confusion.
An analyst needs to ask exactly when they will report the complete AD data. And not let Dr M off with a vague answer like soon, around the corner, as soon as possible, or the second half of this year.
It has to be either completely done or very close to being done. Even if he says definitively by the end of June, that would work for me.
