I don't think the open interest (as far as I can remember) was big on that strike price. So, the volume must be opening position. It could slightly off if some positions are being sold into the volume. We would know what the numbers are tomorrow or on Monday when they update the open interest. Also, the bid and ask has gone up by 5 cents which could mean it is a purchase.
