If a transaction listed here as a buy is really a naked short sale by a market maker, how is it instructive to reference that transaction as a "buy" in a debate?
Your argument about market makers ability to manipulate the buys and sells, leaves one with no choice but to conclude that the buy and sell numbers as often quoted here may not mean what they are purported to mean. As a result, those numbers are rendered pointless.

The SEC and FINRA do not think that the daily report means what you think it means. I am also going with their opinion.
