Are you saying You think the U.S. and NATO would join in the Ukraine war to fight Russia at some point? Hmmm, I really don't see that happening unless some other unforeseen event would cause it to happen.

Most people in the U.S. are fine with giving Zelensky and his crooked generals unlimited money to fight the war, but IMO there would be huge push back on the U.S. entering the war.
IMO the money they're spending now to back the Ukainians' has become very onerous and almost unsustainable. It can't go on indefinitely. Something will have to give. Let's see who does.

I don't see either Canada or the U.S. as engaging in a hot war if they can avoid it. They don't have the money.

This is what I'm talking about. War is expensive. Resources to fight wars aren't limitless.
War is historically what bankrupts' countries that are fighting those wars. The U.S. and NATO are expending massive resources right now with their aid to the Ukraine and so is Russia.

We know China is most likely helping Russia in some way behind the scenes, so that's helping them. Also, to your earlier point that China wants to see the U.S. draw down as much of their weapons as possible before they make a move on Taiwan, so the longer the Ukraine war drags out the better for their situation. The U.S. probably won't be capable of doing anything militarily against China when they invade Taiwan. The U.S. may not have enough oil either.

I watched this Martin Armstrong interview, and he made a comment as to how we could certainly see NATO and maybe the U.S. start WWIII with Russia. This has already been talked about from NATO. That's for the Ukraine to join NATO, which they currently aren't a member.

The Head of NATO has already kicked that idea around. I'm not sure exactly how it was received by the rest of NATO, but we know that would just piss-off Putin more. It certainly would escalate the war further. What might it mean for China's involvement? Hard to say.

Also, I wanted you to hear what Armstrong said about what the major reason the Fed had to start raising interest rates. Go to about 23:35 in the interview and listen to what he says about how inflationary the war in Ukraine is The U.S. government is spending like drunken sailors on the war, causing more inflation, but nobody ever attributes that to the war, as Armstrong makes a great point about.

Much of what he says provokes you to think, especailly what he says about politicians and war. Interesting discussion IMO.
