I can burn-off plenty of calories quickly, but that always comes coupled with a huge appetite as my body tries to remain the same.

It's one thing to be insanely hungry 24 hours a day and to dream about eating food but that also comes with increasing fatigue, and then I can't put out the work.

After one injection a week of Trulicity (they're all the same) I can barely interest myself in three small meals a day yet not feel hungry or weak. The drug makes the pancreas produce more insulin, what Klaus and Sunny von Bulow disastrously used to remain thin. It also prolongs the time before your stomach empties so you feel full longer in addition to being not hungry and full of energy due to the insulin.

Eat 'too much' or eat too much fat or sugar and your body instantly puts you of that idea with nausea. I suddenly like a small meal of carbs with a little protein and fat. Flavors are enhanced, salty food is a little too salty, sour more sour. It's a quick learning experience.

Eli Lilly has an even newer dual drug Mounjaro which is 'more effective' with a weight loss of more than 34 pounds - but I can't imagine needing something more effective than their Trulicity. The literature mentions people losing 5 up to 21 pounds over the course of a year, but even with my Doctor giving me quick dissolving zofran anti-nausea tablets I can't imagine how anyone could possibly continue to eat normal-sized meals or snack.

I accidentally qualified by using a low dose of oxandrolone, an anabolic steroid, for a month to speed up my recovery between swims. With increased food this elevated my blood sugar and HB1AC. Doctor says in the future to use human growth hormone instead.

Next I'll try weaning off the juice after my body is accustomed to its new stasis.

These new drugs are not for anyone prone to pancreatitis.

LLY is a great company but I can't get past the P/E of 62.
