No, they don't. Anyone who thinks they DO should cite the clinical trial that they think proves that ActiPatch or RecoveryRx reduces opioid use.
BIEL has some clinical proof regarding NSAIDS and they have some testimonial case studies regarding analgesics in general, but they don't have any clinical studies measuring opioid reduction.
Maybe the pilot study being done by Ilfeld (moved back to EOY 2023) will satisfy the CMS and maybe it won't. It's not a slam dunk, that's for sure. But if the NOPAIN Act is so darned important to BIEL, they should be ramping up their efforts to get that clinical proof.
A real CEO would get right on that.
