#33386 RE: microcapbiotech #33385

I suppose that’s right. I was uneasy about the choice (AML active) from the start (phantom too I believe) and regret not listening. Perspective did. The Baylor data was pretty clear it wasn’t a good choice. They went anyway, not feeling they had much alternative. However they could have slow played it and just done adjuvant and then not delayed for the process changes. But they were aggressive. Having been in the business (venture) I bet dollars to donuts Aisling and NEA are in the background pushing. They don’t get paid for base hits. And time is the enemy. They play for home runs and move on if they strike out. It’s more set up for private than public deals. PH was drinking his own coolaid (maybe better not being conservative) and maybe, just maybe didn’t realize the dynamic. Vera had belief that what happens in the lab must happen in people in the case, or at least it should. And so here we are. The sad thing is there is still a pony in here arguably. Can someone pull a rabbit out of the hat? It seems doubtful at this stage but first things first you need some decent data. Here we are.

Trying not to be provocative, this is all much more likely than a fraudulent plot of some sort. They looked at the information. Had belief. And acted. Even with their wallet. They chose poorly. Get a win and move forward stepwise would have been a better plan in retrospect. Sorry for us all. But personally, it feels bad for me to blame. I could’ve listened to my gut. But I wanted to believe too, as you say. “Don’t you worry…it will all be over soon,” one way or another.
