It's a head scratcher but I've seen it before. All I can think is some kind of signal to retail because we know they didn't pick up anymore institutional holdings. When the true game is research for researches sake along with endless handsome salaries and perks, these biotechs need a large collection of retail. The market makers make good coin on their desperation to sell like in...say after a reverse split, which in turn keeps the stock alive and the salaries flowing. Watch to see how future options or repricing makes up for the open market purchases cash layout.
