I believe it is a good idea for KBLB to provide information to the Air Force. Never said otherwise. When the RFP comes out, we will know more about the DoD’s interest in ‘spider silk.’

Still, I think KBLB has a long shot to get funding unless the latest effort to produce in Vietnam is unsuccessful. There should be time to produce one or more crops in Vietnam before proposals are due late in the year.

To Thompson’s credit, it seems he anticipated the possibility of the production failure at GSS this time and planned ahead to develop parent lines capable of producing robust hybrids.

By my estimate, we are 3 1/2 weeks away from the first opportunity to hear about hybrid production. I think the next quarterly report should drop in about that same time frame. We can see if inventory numbers have changed.

<< the AF is specifically looking for spider silk.. >>

That is incorrect. The RFI doesn't even say anything close to that.

It specifically states:

"specialty chemicals and materials that are needed by the DoD in an
available and affordable manner "

One will notice that the "specialty chemicals and materials" need to be "available" and also "affordable". Neither of those requirements apply to KBLB at all. KBLB has NOTHING available.

It is extremely unlikely that the DOD is going to throw money at a penny stock that has never produced anything significant in 14 years, and has a scumbag CEO that has lined his pockets with shareholders money during that entire time.
