Luckily for consumers, the sentiment shared by BYD this morning doesn’t seem consistent throughout the industry, as countless legacy makers are currently working toward autonomous driving solutions.

BYD said that companies may keep investing loads of resources on self driving, however they will not be successful in level 4 or 5. So while the author can feel better that companies are investing more into self driving, the honest truth is it'll be a waste of resources as true level 5 driving is impossible with current tech in our current enviornment.

So much of what Tsla is built on is lies! According to Musk, Tesla is worthless without level 5.
