I read that earlier and it just made me furious!
parent rant here. Do 6 year olds need identified performance achievements? NO, They sure as hell do not. They need to enjoy being kids, learn about being a part of a team, and supporting your team members. At 6, they play to have fun and learn the basic rules of the sport. When I coached young LL I rotated all the kids through all of the positions. They loved it. Everyone got to bat, pitch, catch and chase down balls. This also meant on game day that we had no idea how the team would function. We won or share and lost our share, but at the end of the season, all of them wanted to be on "my team" for the next year.

You can take those bloody "identified performance achievements"and stuff them!!

I wonder if they realize this will hurt the trophy industry here in NC.

I coached LL and Pony baseball for 10 years. My wife was a team mom for the same period along with a couple of other moms. We made sure at year end all the kids got a memento of the season. The YMCA did the same thing where our son played bball and soccer.

But do they care about people now being able to buy a hand gun without a permit?

Hell no as someone recently pointed out.

Cecil Brockman just happens be be my state house rep and no I don't follow him on Twitter. But I am going to make sure he loses in the next election cycle.

Dems had the majority in the House to stop an override on a governor's veto and Brockman was a no show the day the vote went down and the override won.

Should I be pissed off about this? Or as someone said Bullshit?
