gg. No I'm not saying that . I eat a far amount of Salmon ...at least 2-3 times a week. I don't eat swordfish because of the mercury risk . I take Vascepa primarily because I think high serum EPA lowers inflammation and makes my known coronary plaques less likely to rupture ( strengthens the plaques fibrous caps ).
I was surprised to see the call for a new trial making the rounds again . I personally would like a small trial with no mineral oil placebo , in post PCI patients .....to confirm the 34 % risk reduction that Capt keeps posting . I was hoping the MITIGATE CV endpoint data would help in that regard .....but Kaiser and AMRN are not currently providing any confirmed updates on that trial as far as I know.
I know you read / post on Dews board occasionally. I commented on my position in RXDX some time ago .Did U see it . ( We have a friend who really struggles with Chron's ).
