Cprx started their longhaul buyback when firdapse was in its infancy and money was an issue. It was THE RIGHT decision. The sp languished and was held down by shorts but the c.e.o. stood by and bought shares back regularly pushing the sp to new highs year after year until the shorts were squeezed out. They started to produce spectacular results in sp despite generic threats and slow sales. What blows my mind they did it all with sales totalling under 400 million a year for many years. If amrn was start a buyback program, the sp would slowly gain momentum and shorts would dissipate.
