I believe that each of the countries have slightly different filing requirements and because I do NOT believe they are going through Orbis or ILAP, there would be a small lag between each of the MA filings.
That's what I think as of this time. I could be wrong, I could have misconstrued it, or things could change.
Additonally, I do believe that LG sees the filing of the UK MAA as a material event, and will PR it when they've filed it. However I do strongly feel that completing modules are part of that filing and that when those modules are finalized, the application will be considered complete, and thus, filed. I do not believe that they considered initiating the application for the PIP or the HTA to be material, but they of course did consider the granting or acceptance of those two to be material. And again, I do think they consider the filing of the MAA to be material.
What the company considers "filing" is a bit foggy to me, but I certainly don't think it means the process has just begun, but rather that the package is complete and with the MHRA in its entirety. And for whatever reason, they believed the MIA license needed to be a part of that complete MAA package. I believe that when this is announced, we'll get clarity as to how long the process will take or what application pathway they are using.
