Two answers:

How much longer must we all wait for the FDA to finally announce the collapse of their Amyloid thesis as the cause for AD?

1) It isn't the FDA's amyloid thesis!
2) When someone, perhaps Anavex, gets round to filing an NDA for an alternative that clearly demonstrates a better answer

The FDA doesn't tell anyone what hypothesis is worth following or not. It adjudicates whether or not data and analysis from given trials support approval for the target indications.
