The crucial distinction here is that the negative interpretation has been batting 1000 for decades now.

The pro case seems to be "But...but... but... just because LWLG hasn't produced any products or signed any customers or earned any revenue in decades of existence doesn't mean they never will!"

I think I know which interpretation I find more compelling. One is letting facts and the track record speak for itself, the other is blind faith and hope.
