It is a good thing that there are not institutions that own large chunks of NWBO lest they try to force their will Carl Icahn style

That's not true Jimmy, Institutions have to immediately report when their holdings exceed 5%, but each quarter they report all the stocks they hold at the end of the quarter. Institution that buy into stocks that aren't part of their charter purchase on or after the first day of the quarter and then sell by the last day of the quarter. They can do this as often as they wish, and the MM's are only too happy to cooperate with them.

I actually believe it's the company that puts out the information when an Institutional investor's position reaches 5%. Institutions don't report holding until roughly half way through the quarter after the one they're reporting on.

Most Institutions can't invest in NWBO and won't be able to until the share price is at least a few dollars, many can't do it until it's on a major exchange, and of course it also has to be covered by the charter of the institution. If an Institution is supposed to be investing in the petroleum sector they can't have NWBO in their portfolio regardless of its share price or exchange, but if they buy and sell so as never to hold it over a quarter they never have to report it.

An Institution that buys biotech's selling for over $5 could buy, but the only way they'd hold over the quarter would be if the stock exceeded $5 during the quarter. If it was over $5 at the end of the quarter investors in the Institution might assume that they purchased below $5 and had a substantial profit by the time it hit that price, but I don't believe they ever get the exact figures that they buy, or sell at. I doubt if we have any Institutions currently invested that are looking for over $1 at the end of March, but we could have some that can invest in a stock that's selling for $1 who'll hold and report if we reach $1 by the end of the month, otherwise they'll sell by the end of the month. Let's hope that next quarter we get Institutions who need $2 or more to invest and they're positioned to hold into the third quarter, if the news is right, I believe it's a strong possibility.
