Capt. I believe high serum EPA levels reduce CV events risk ...which is why I take Vascepa .
However many in the Cardiology community are not convinced of the degree of benefit .
Take the R-It PCI results for instance ...which I think was something like 34 % risk reduction of a following CV event if prescribed Vascepa within 12 mths of a PCI. NNT of 11 ...!!!!

Now that would be practice changing news if all Cardiologists believed that .
Vascepa ( in the words of JL ) would be " flying off the shelf"...generic and brand .

The latest PCI data was presented at ACC23 .....and basically ignored . I read Cardiology Today , Practice Update etc etc ...and they had extensive followup coverage of numerous ACC23 presentations .
Nothing on the R-IT PCI data .

In your opinion ...why are we seeing no follow up on the R-IT PCI data ...?
