Sad to hear that about DD, but I can tell you one thing, I did not wait 8 years to make some wall-street guy rich by selling-off in the final hour. For me, it's to-da-moon, or to-da-ground. Rule #1 of investing - never, ever invest your milk money in the stock market. Especially not in something as risky as a pre-commercial-stage biotech. NWBO could go to $100/share and some might never make a dime because their hand was forced.
I fully expect things to turn around once MIA comes in (any minutes now... ahem...).
I think one of the reasons we haven't seen a buyout is because Big Pharma is lurking in the shadows hoping to get a killer deal in the event NWBO can't make it over the hump. Why pay $40bn if you have a chance at snagging it for $2bn? At any case, I'd be truly surprised if the stock ever went to zero... the tech is just too good.
