On October 9, 2012, one of those 10-year-old survivors was diagnosed with GBM in the motor-sensory cortex of his brain.
Like that, the flying career he started as a teenage kid vanished.
On October 9, 2019, he celebrated 7 years of survival while sitting in a cockpit again and flying to Hawaii.
He is still doing fine.
