War really sucks and the people fighting it are kids while the “powers that be” sit in their fancy homes drinking wine.

Is this a line from the movie, or your current thought process?
I can tell you first hand from having a son in for six years. that while I have many complaints about how the current military is handled, it's not exactly "kids fighting" like it was during WWI any more.
