I saw two more of the nominated films, Tar and All Quiet on the Western Front.
Only 2 more to go before Sunday. Although I do want to see The Whale which isn’t nominated for best picture.

Tar
The first sign of me not liking a movie is that I doze off. I did that numerous times during this movie. I eventually watched the entire movie but it was an effort. I didn’t really care about any of the characters. With that said, it was still better than Women Talking

All Quiet on the Western Front

I am not usually a fan of war movies or any movie with a lot of blood but this one was done well. It may or may not win for Best picture but it should win for best cinematography.

War really sucks and the people fighting it are kids while the “powers that be” sit in their fancy homes drinking wine.
