Maybe totally off track and without doing any digging the first name that came to me was Melinda Gates then the second that came was Oprah Winfrey because of the Media empire and influence which she has used to launch many folks and efforts into the limelight successfully including president Barack Obama. In the case of Dr. Oz, she supported clinically but then removed support politically. Ouch!; ). Best wishes.
