I find it inspiring when someone can do what they rest of the industry could not. Over the years Lightwave worked as best as they could with the money they had. The universities were very difficult partners. I'm proud that I was able to see the vision as well. When we the investors saw something we didn't agree with, if possible we corrected it, that is how progress is made. I spent $125k trying to get a company to clean up the perk, it didn't work, oh well, I tried, certainly not their fault, they didn't force me to do it.
We used to beg for an engineer now we probably have 50 (inside, outside, partners, customers and foundries)
This has come at the perfect time because if they brought it to market at the slower speeds the industry would not have adopted it. Silicon is now maxed out, perfect time, perfect product. If this was brought to market without patents to protect, we would have basically given it away. If they tried to produce modulators to sell in-house, the costs would have been prohibitive.
If some folks do not believe what Lightwave has accomplished then sell your shares, the shorts need to cover 19 million shares somehow someway it will not be easy, it would make their day I'm sure.
I fully stand behind Lebby and team Lightwave and I know that I certainly could not have done a better job at doing or timing this.
5 silicon foundries, another silicon and an InP foundry is on deck. They have excellent modeling software so they can move things along nicely. Silicon Photonics was/is a flash in pan. 3 times the speed using 1/10 the power and compatible with processes in place at the foundries. Patents to allow for technology transfers and licensing in place. Funny how some want to see the glass 1/2 empty, I see it getting ready to spill over the top. And remember if you put a few ounces of perkinamine in the bottom of a wine glass that is enough material for thousands of high speed modulators and remember that 1,000 times $1,000 is $1,000,000 and that 10,000 modulators times $10,000 each is $100 Million Bucks!

Xster Good Day To All

Doesn’t matter, Proto. Whatever the product/strategy, it’s been the same, tiresome, result-less story for decades. I get you really believe in the company and Lebby; but at some point they need to be accountable to shareholders. This isn’t a publicly-funded university lab project, it is an alleged for-profit business. Management acts like it’s the former.
