Do you find it's much more likely not to work if there're replies to the post in question?

If I click on "next", and it doesn't work, I find the "replies (3)" or whatever disappears. Sometimes it reappears if I click again, but "next" still doesn't work. And if I refresh the post, I'm taken back to the previous message. If I then hit next, I can usually continue forward.
