You got that wrong, it was always "Nationstar Mortgage, LLC d/b/a Mr. Cooper" (without Group!!!).

d/b/a means "doing business as". Even before the WMIH merger and renaming to Mr. Cooper Group Nationstar used the brand "Mr. Cooper" (without Group), that's why d/b/a Mr. Cooper.
